Paul Kreibich has been a mainstay on the jazz scene for many years, both in his native Los Angeles, and internationally as well. From 1995 to 2000 he toured and recorded with the late pianist Gene Harris. He has played drums on tour with such world-class artists as Ray Charles, Carmen McRae, Anita O'Day, Red Rodney, Mose Allison, and the Woody Herman Orchestra to name a few. With over 60 discography credits to date, Paul has recorded with many jazz greats such as Ray Charles, Gene Harris, Diane Reeves, Herb Geller, James Moody, Cedar Walton, Kenny Burrell, Jon Hendricks, Bill Perkins, Bob Cooper, and Conte Candoli. Paul has been noted by many of his contemporaries as a melodic drummer. Jazz reviewers have praised his brushwork and artful timekeeping. In addition to his drumming, Paulís two CD releases as a leader, Lonesome Tree and The Jazz Coop: Spiral Stairway showcase his original compositions. Paul teaches in the jazz department at California State University, Fullerton and privately. He is an endorsing artist for Remo drums, Istanbul cymbals, and Vic Firth Sticks.
